The app works well when it actually connects, which is very rare. 9/10 the app will not connect to the game just dance, no matter if you reset your device, the platform, or even download it back. The chance you will actually be able to play is relatively low.

Just one problem I have some problems connecting my phone to the game but everything else works perfectly I love this app

Its a Ok app they fixed it with some bugs but there still there for Just dance 2014, 2015 you need a Move controller for Ps4, ps5 Im not sure about the Xbox cause i own it but for Xbox im 100% sure Just dance 2016-2022 works fine with this and its actually fun if your depressed.

allowed permissions. still giving error message. uninstalled and reinstalled. still not working. powered phone off and tried again. same thing. fix immediately.

I cannot get my controller to connect. whenever i get onto the app it says to make sure its on the same wifi as my console. I have checked multiple times and deleted and reinstalled the app and the game but it is saying the same thing over and over again. i trued on different family members phones too and it says the same.

I threw my phone across the room, seriously dancing while holding a phone?! What is that logic????

I just wasted the last 2 hours of my life trying to figure out why the app was acting like my phone and Xbox weren’t on the same WiFi, so let me save y’all some time. The app wasn’t working on 5G networks. Luckily my apartment has dual band and like 4 different networks and two with a 2.4GHz band. So if you’re having problems connecting the app to the game, unplug your console or pc from Ethernet if that’s what you use, and manually connect your devices to a network with a lower band.

It was working perfectly fine bf the update and now it just keeps saying error you guys should fix this asap

this app isn’t letting me connect even thought my phone is connected to the wifi just like my os4 is so idk why it won’t let me and it worked perfectly fine last time i play if i could give this a zero i would.

Worked up to the most recent update. This app is wonderful, works well, good motion detection, etc. But fairly recently I’ve had a pop up saying to connect the phone to the same Wifi, which it’s connected to, and shouldn’t be a problem. Please fix! ❤️

I am not able to use this app. It keeps on saying “ to use your phone as a controller please allow the app to access the same Wi-Fi network in your phone settings “ and I have. Multiple times, I’ve even deleted the app and reloaded and it still didn’t work. And I used to use this app before, but I had to delete due to storage and I just didn’t play just dance anymore. But now I’m trying to play it and it won’t work.

I wanted to play just dance on my ps4.

Please fix this app! My kids love just dance and we are completely unable to play due to this faulty app.

Ubisoft, I’m really confused. I gave the permissions needed and it still won’t let us play. I’ve been playing for a while and have always loved just dance. Unfortunately, its not like it used to be because its not smartphone accessible

Controller keeps saying phone needs to be on same network as wifi. WiFi was reset, app uninstalled and reinstalled, phone turned off and on, wifi disconnected and reconnected. Nothing is fixing this issue. From other reviews seems to be issues after latest update.

The new Just Dance update on January 19th, 2025 caused our phones not to connect to our Just dance ps4 2022. It says you need to connect to the same WiFi as your controller…. and we are. We had one phone that did not automatically update the app and it still connects. A bug???

Every time I load the game I’m stuck on the screen that says I have to allow the app to connect to the same WiFi as my Xbox but no matter how many times I turn it off and back on it still will not give me any screen other than that one. This has been going on for over a week even after the most recent update.

Every time anyone tries to open it all it says is connect to the same internet as the ps4. Truly disappointing. Just go to YouTube, it’s so much easier.

App is not functional since the update 3 days ago, meaning I can’t play at all on my PS5. There is actually not a way to contact Ubisoft about the issue through their website or Discord (it prompts you to log in before submitting feedback, you log in, then the page won’t acknowledge that you are logged in, creating an endless loop). So that’s awesome.

My just dance controller is not working even though I updated it and allowed my local internet.

It keeps saying that I need to connect the WiFi to it and it is I turned it off and back on and tried turning my phone all the way off and nothing is working it doesn’t need to be updated

Ubisoft doesn’t care obviously if so far most of the 1 star reviews are people with the same issue as i have “To use your phone as a controller, please allow the app to access the same Wi-Fi network in your phone settings.” Basically no one except android users since on android it works can play it or people that haven’t update the app recently

It’s telling me to allow it to connect it to the same network but it already is. We played with it the other day, usually i’d rate it higher but unfortunately it is not working.

When I open the app it prompts me with the settings button and it says that I need to allow the app to search on my local network which I have gone into my settings and allowed multiple times. I don’t know how to fix this because the app settings button wont work either.

Nunca pasa de Configuración y dice que hay que conectarlo a la misma red de la consola y ya lo hice más de 100 veces y nunca pasa de los mismo necesito una solución yaaaaaa!

I’ve been using this app since 2017. It’s perfect but now everytime I try to use it, it says “please allow app to access the same WIFI network in your settings” even though I have it turned on. It’s been doing this for about 2 weeks now. Please fix it

I have been using the just dance controller app for my Xbox series s for a couple of years it worked fine I recently bought just dance for my play station four and the app says on my phone that I need to connect my phone to the same WiFi as my play station but it is on the same WiFi so I updated my phone thinking it was the problem and it still says the same thing so I go on my Xbox which I had originally used and now it says that same exact thing I am very disappointed and don’t know what to do.

all I get is an error message. I've contacted people and googled things and spent hours researching to find out it's an unfixed but.

Bought the PS5 version of the game and the app just goes to a screen telling me to make sure the PS5 and the phone are on the same network. They 100% are and it never recognizes or goes past that screen. So now I cannot even play the game. If I could do zero stars I would. Version 8.04 update still completely broken. Cmon Ubisoft!!!!

It aint worky

Getting same message as everyone else. Very disappointing when you have a 4 year old who wants to play and doesn’t understand it’s not working. Never mess with something that’s been working for the past year! There has been several updates it shows over past few days and none work. Maybe I’ll check back in a few months to see if they finally figured it out
